FURTHER details about a free Christmas party for the over 55s in Tewkesbury have been released.
It will take place on November 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the Link Road Centre in Prior's Park.
There will be music, food, and drink on offer and representatives from a wide range of agencies will be there offering advice on how to keep safe, warm and well this winter.
More than 25 will be represented at the event, including npower, Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service, a pharmacist, Age UK, NHS dementia staff, the Roses Theatre and Crimestoppers.
To create a bit of Christmas spirit, pupils from Tewkesbury School will bring instruments to play festive music for the party-goers.
The special event, which is expected to attract more than 100 people, is being organised and funded by Tewkesbury Borough Council's community safety partnership, Prior's Park Neighbourhood Project, Gloucestershire police and Severn Vale Housing Society.
