HOLLYWOOD star and son of Gloucester Simon Pegg returned to the big screen last night.
The premiere of the third and final film in the 'three flavours Cornetto trilogy' The World's End took place in London yesterday.
Pegg, who was born in Gloucester and attended Brockworth Comprehensive and The King's School, stars alongside Nick Frost once more as the duo and their pals set out to finish an epic pub crawl, with some unexpected extra-terrestrial results.
The previous films in the trilogy, Shaun of the Dean and Hot Fuzz, have been box office smashes and cult favourites.
Pegg also had a starring role in the recent Star Trek Into Darkness movie.
