TRAFFIC gave way to people as traders reclaimed Market Street in Nailsworth for themselves.
The aptly-named road was closed to vehicles on the town's monthly farmers' market day so the shops could sell their wares outdoors.
Organiser Emily Murray, who runs Nom Nom Cupcakery, said the idea was to showcase what businesses had to offer.
"We feel, sometimes, that people might otherwise miss us when they look around Nailsworth," she said.
Entertainment was on offer with local Britain's Got Talent TV show entrant Kieran Powell there to show off his ventriloquism.
"There was a massive crowd of kids and adults in front of him," said Emily.
There will be fun again in Market Street on July 27.
