COMMUNITY fete-goers dodged the showers to enjoy a pet show, produce competition and more in Rodborough.
A downpour at the start of the afternoon, just as author, actress and otter woman Daphne Neville declared Saturday's event open, did not deter families from making the most of the attractions.
"Daphne was very good, taking time to talk to stallholders," said Joanna Bird from the Rodborough Community Fete organising team.
A dog show and agility display proved to be a popular centrepiece for the annual fete, which had the theme Pets, Pooches and People.
The fete brought together groups from across the community, including Rodborough School, Scouts, Brownies, and Rodborough Playgroup.
