TEAMS will put their pulling power to the test in Stroud on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Charity Truck Pull Challenge will see 13 teams attempting to pull Dairy Crest trucks along Merrywalks, which will be closed to traffic.
The event, from noon to 4.30pm, will be accompanied by live music and a kids' corner with bouncy castles, lucky dips, face painting and schools' dance competition.
Organisations such as the police, fire service, Dairy Crest and Stroud pubs are among the 13 teams taking part to raise money for The Door Youth Project.
Organisers Harry and Gary Gardner said: "It will be the biggest event Stroud has seen for a long time.
"We want to see the community of Stroud pull together.''
