FINE weather hailed a great start to the 30th Nailsworth Festival.
The town centre was packed as the week-long spectacular got under way.
It culminates with a showcase of youth talent compered by Britain's Got Talent hopeful and Nailsworth ventriloquist Kieran Powell.
Events kicked off with Festival Saturday, which was about thousands of people enjoying themselves.
There was the annual St Dominic's RC Primary plastic duck race in the Nailsworth Stream, live acts kept audiences entertained in Mortimer Gardens and the bus station was turned over to a marketplace.
Nailsworth and Forest Green Cubs and Scouts kept visitors topped up with tea, coffee and cakes.
The youth talent showcase is on Sunday at 7.30pm. Details of all events and booking is available at nailsworthfestival.org.uk.
● Nailsworth Farmers' Market will be in Mortimer Gardens from 9am to 1pm this Saturday with handmade pies and bread and sausages, local pork, locally-grown vegetables and eggs plus crafts including stained glass.
