PEOPLE are being urged to keep Gloucester tidy this weekend as the city council's annual litter drive kicks into full swing.
The Big City Clean Up was launched yesterday and it encourages people to pick up litter this weekend.
This year shoppers are being asked to tweet pictures of their efforts too.
Gloucester City Council leader Paul James said: "I hope this campaign will be a huge success and empower our followers to do something about litter and make them think about how they dispose of litter."
