SUMMER temperatures finally arrived in Cheltenham, bringing hundreds of people out to enjoy the warm weather.
Despite a cloudy start to the bank holiday weekend, the temperatures rose throughout Sunday and Monday to reach 18C by the end of yesterday.
Families headed to the town's parks to enjoy the sun after weeks of rain and cold weather.
But experts at the Met Office have warned that the brighter days are not going to last for much longer.
While today is set to be the hottest so far this year, with temperatures hitting as high as 20C in Gloucestershire, it will then be a return to the colder conditions experienced last month.
Rain is being predicted on tomorrow night and into Thursday, when temperatures are not expected to hit any higher than 11C.
And weathermen have also warned there could be frost next weekend.
