Fire fighters were called on to put out a cricket pavilion on fire on the outskirts of Cheltenham last night.
Crews from Cheltenham, Gloucester and Painswick were sent out to extinguish the blaze in Shurdington Road.
The pavilion was said to be "well alight" on arrival, but after tackling it with hoses fire fighters managed to bring the flames under control.
Within an hour they had managed to put the fire out, leaving around a third of the building severely damaged.
The incident took place at around 11.30pm yesterday.
