Firefighters were called to a flat fire in Hucclecote last night.
The incident happened in Hucclecote Road ar 9.20pm, when fire control received a call from a member of the public stating a top floor flat appeared to be heavily smoke logged with the fire alarms activating.
One appliance from Gloucester North Fire Station and another from Gloucester South Fire Station were mobilised with a total of 10 firefighters.
Once in attendance crews advised that there was a small flat fire and used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to deal with the incident.
An ambulance was alsoon the scene to treat two men at the scene who were suffering smoke inhalation.
Crews were detained at the incident for a total of one hour.
