WITH the current state of the economy, jobs are hard to come by, so a charity is helping out-of-work people make themselves more appealing to retail employers.
Hester's Way Neighbourhood Project is holding an eight week course called Getting Into Retail.
It takes place at Hester's Way Community Resource Centre in Cassin Drive, starting on May 3, from 10am to noon.
The course is free to adults in the local area on means tested benefits.
It is being run in partnership by the Neighbourhood Project and Gloucestershire College.
A spokesman for the Project said: "The course will help people find a job in retail and prepare for the tasks they will be expected to do in the job."
