A Cheltenham school was due to close on Monday and Tuesday after a drain "collapsed" on site.
But concerns have been subsided for staff and parents at The Catholic School of St. Gregory The Great after it was confirmed the problem was "less severe" than initially thought.
A spokesman said: "Please note that further investigation into the collapsed drains has shown that the problem is less severe than initially thought.
"As such the school will now beopen on Monday April 8 and Tuesday April 9.
"Apologies for any inconvenience."
