A REPRIEVE has been granted for HMV in Gloucester.
The national music, film and games retailer fell into administration in January.
On February 20 administrators Deloitte announced it was axing the King's Walk store in Gloucester along with the Cheltenham branch and 35 other stores across the country.
The Gloucester shop had been due to close next week.
But the store manager has now been told to remove all their 'closing-down' signage and 'store clearance' posters.
King's Walk centre manager Peter White said: "It looks that in the short term that they will be remaining open and will be implementing the same deals that the stores staying open are currently doing.
"We still do not know whether this unit will be closed in the future but it's positive news that this store will remain open and trade in new stock for the short term period."
