What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?
Generally walking or rambling in our diverse and incredibly beautiful countryside, especially combined with a pub lunch.
And your favourite place to eat out in the county?
For lunch I head for the old post office in Guiting Power which serves up homemade soup and to-die-for bacon rolls! For a special dinner we head to Number 5 North Street, Winchcombe. We have eaten here many times over the years. It remains consistently fantastic year after year.
What's the worst job you've ever had?
My career has been quite diverse ranging from deliveries of a local paper, plumbing, hospital portering through to radiography and PET/CT imaging. I have to say I have been incredibly lucky in that I have thoroughly enjoyed every job that I have done. By far the best job I have had is my present one working at Cobalt!
Who is your hero and why?
My wife, who is the most patient, caring and unselfish person I know. After that, my sister-in-law, who dabbles in witchcraft and puts a hex on anyone who irritates me!

Les Miserables. I am not a great fan of musicals but have been captivated by this one
