CRAFTY children created snapping crocodiles at Newent library.
The library was bustling with more than 20 children and their parents as part of a special New Year event held on Thursday.
The youngsters were read a story and used it as inspiration to cut out and make bright green crocodiles.
Principle library assistant Andy Shapcott said: "We weren't expecting that many people so it was lovely to see the library so full and everyone having as good time.
"It felt like a real family event.
"We have been pretty busy all week actually."
