BRIDGE repairs will close one lane of the M5 past Gloucester for up to three months.
Restrictions will be in place from Junction 11a-12 and 13-14 from January 14.
Lane one in both directions will be shut, as will the hard shoulder on either side of the motorway.
It's so work can be done to carry out concrete repairs on bridges along those stretches of the road.
A Highways Agency spokesman said: "The lane closures will be lifted for the peak Easter holiday period.
"A temporary 50mph speed limit will be in operation through both sets of works.
"Some areas of the hard shoulder will be closed from January 7 for preparatory work."
