Gloucester City are confident their New Year's Day home derby against Worcester City will go ahead at Whaddon Road tomorrow (3pm) - as long as the weather doesn't get worse.
The club have held a meeting with groundstaff at the Cheltenham ground and feel positive about the chances of the Blue Square Bet North game being played.
However, is there is more rain overnight, there will be a pitch inspection at 11am.
In a statement, the club said: "At the moment we are 90 per cent certain that the game will go ahead – but we will keep fans updated if this changes."
The club also announced  there will be no segregation at the game. And the cancellation of the racing at Cheltenham means traffic around the ground will not be as bad as anticipated.
There will be a precautionary pitch inspection at Newport County's Rodney Parade ground tomorrow at 9am ahead of the scheduled visit by Forest Green Rovers (3pm) in Blue Square Bet Premier.
