A TEENAGER suffered a broken jaw after he was punched in the face while standing at a bus stop.
Police are appealing for information after the 16-year-old boy was assaulted by a hooded teen in the High Street in Cheltenham on Friday evening at 6.50pm near to McDonalds.
The victim was standing at the bus stop when he was approached by a 19-year-old man.
It is believed the man wearing a hood then punched the boy in the face.
The 16-year-old was then taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where he was treated for a broken jaw.
The offender and his friends are described as in their teens and they were all wearing dark clothes with their hoods pulled up.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 309 of December 28.
