INFANT school children spilled into Garden room of St Andrews church last Monday to sing for the elderly.
The infant choir of Christ Church Primary School entertained an audience of more than 20 pensioners, mostly above 90, to an ensemble of Christmas songs.
About 59 children from the school has been helping to spread the Christmas cheer at the church for the last three years.
The elderly people were part of group called the Forum, who meet fortnightly and hold a Christmas party every year.
The 4-7 year olds belted into song after a shared Christmas tea among the elderly people in Church.
Joan Thomson, an elder at the church, said: "The children were absolutely wonderful. I think everyone really enjoyed their singing.
"I used to be a nursery teacher, so I volunteered to ask the school. They were magnificent."
