A FLOOD alert has been issued for the River Severn, from Tewkesbury to Gloucester.
According to the Environmental Agency, flooding might be possible, and has asked members of the public to be prepared.
The level at Mythe was 2.81 metres and rising, with a peak level of 3 to 3.3 metres expected tomorrow evening.
The gauge at Gloucester was 2.58 metres and steadying, although a high of 3.6 to 3.7 metres is expected around 11pm tonight.
