FIREFIGHTERS and paramedics were called to a crash in Aylburton in the early hours this morning.
An ambulance crew requested the firefighters attend the scene outside The Cross Inn, High Street, to cut the driver free from the vehicle at 1.34am.
However, the driver had managed to get out of the vehicle before the 12 firefighters from Lydney and Cinderford stations arrived.
The driver was not injured, and the fire crews spent around 45 minutes clearing fuel and debris from the scene.
