A guitar was stolen from a home in South Cerney after a window was smashed.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the burglary took place in Rose Way between 6.30pm on Monday, December 3 and 4.45pm on Wednesday, December 5.
A neighbour saw five youths leaving an alleyway with the guitar on the evening of December 4.
Officers are still trying to determine whether the two incidents are related.
