COMMUNITY heroes in Cheltenham are being sought to win awards.
Cheltenham Borough Homes wants nominations for its fifth awards ceremony, which marks the work of individuals and groups in the neighbourhood it manages.
The categories include tenant of the year, young tenant, community safety, green achiever, commitment and determination, community, embracing technology and shaping services.
Paul Stephenson, chief executive of the housing association, said: "One of the highlights of our year, these awards are our chance to recognise and reward some remarkable individuals and groups whose dedication and commitment has improved the lives of those in their community.
"We know that there are many deserving people in the community and we want to encourage everyone to nominate their local heroes and celebrate their achievements."
Nominations can be submitted by calling 0800 408 0000 and choosing option four, by e-mailing communityinvolvement@cheltborohomes.org or text 01242 775911.
The closing date for nominations is Monday, December 17 and the ceremony will take place next year.
