Gloucester women third in national sexual partners survey

Gloucester women are among the most sexually liberated in the country, a new survey reveals.
Of 450 women surveyed online, 60% said they sleep with more than seven men a year - behind only Manchester and Edinburgh where 63% and 52% respectively said they sleep with more than eight men a year.
The survey, by SeekingArrangement.com, conducted the survey to reveal the UK's most monogamous cities.
But while results showed that the most monogamous women live in London and Maidstone, and found that the average single woman from the UK has three different sexual partners annually, it's a different story in Gloucester.
Gloucester was just ahead of Monmouth, where  52% of surveyed women  said they sleep with more than five men per year.
Almost a year ago, another online survey showed Gloucester was the cougar capital of Britain - some 67% of women surveyed said they had had a toyboy.
And the Gloucester branch of Ann Summers revealed this summer that sales of sexy items had soared in the wake of the success of erotic novel 50 Shades of Grey.
SeekingArrangement.com defined "monogamous" as someone who has sex with one person (or less) each year.
The company says it is "the world's largest sugar daddy dating network, pairing wealthy men with beautiful women seeking mutually beneficial relationships."
NHS Gloucestershire, which runs the county's sexual health service, said: "While we cannot comment on this survey or its validity, we would encourage people to think carefully about their sexual health and personal safety when entering into a sexual relationship.
"We would strongly advise people to practice safe sex by using a condom. "While other methods of contraception prevent pregnancy, condoms can also reduce your risk of catching a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI)."
