Kate Middleton has left hospital after being treated for severe morning sickness.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been discharged from her three-day hospital stay of three.
Kate left the central London private hospital with Prince William and was taken to Kensington Palace where she will continue resting.
The Duchess looked pale but relaxed as she left the hospital holding a bouquet of flowers.
When asked by the waiting media if she was feeling better, she nodded.
She smiled briefly at more than 100 waiting journalists before being driven away with the Duke.
St James's Palace said: "Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment the Duchess has received."
The pair's child will become third in line to the throne, regardless of whether it is a boy or girl thanks to a recent change in the law.
The news of the pregnancy has created a worldwide frenzy with journalists from France, the USA and Australia among those descending on Britain.
They have been watching Kate's every move in recent weeks, spotting that she drank water instead of wine at a function during the pair's recent south east Asia tour, capturing the moment that William accepted a babygro from a fan and reporting that Kate had changed her hairdo - a sign of a big change in her life.
Kate's admission to hospital meant a sharp announcement about the pregnancy had to be made - and the Queen and other royals are said to have found out just hours before the rest of the world.
