LATE-NIGHT shopping in Gloucester has been given a new meaning, with Debenhams opening its doors until 11pm.
The department store has been drawing customers into the city deep into the night this week with its long opening hours.
Shoppers have been in the store, between Northgate Street and King's Square, looking to grab some Christmas gems and get their festive shopping well under way.
Store manager Kevin O'Donovan said: "We are open late as it's our Christmas Spectacular week which is the same promotion we run this week each year and late-night opening to 11pm.
"It is a shopping stance Debenhams takes each year to maximise the shopping time for our customers.
"The week has got off to a very good start so far and we are marketing it as a six-day event up until this Sunday so still lots more time to shop for your Christmas purchases with our great offers."
This will be music to some shoppers' ears as the big day gets ever closer.
