THE countdown to Gloucester's award-winning second night market has begun with just three weeks to go.
Following the success of the first event in July, the night market returns with a Christmas theme and will be staged to coincide with late-night shopping and the Tree of Light switch-on in Eastgate Street.
Shoppers will be able to enjoy a wide variety of food and craft stalls as well as live musicians throughout the city centre on Thursday, December 6, from 5pm to 8pm.
Council leader Paul James said: "Following the success of the first night market, we hope Christmas shoppers will get behind the evening which promises to be bigger and better than before."
