Endless
days are passing and a few remember still
The greatest wars of mankind and Death's far greater till
Those that walk among us yet brave more than we asked
Silence does surround them walking unremarked
The enemy from within is now their greatest dread
Another day to wander if they rise up from their bed
Few enough are thankful few enough still care
About the greatest slaughter and deaths still greater pare
And so to death and glory the greatest tales untold
The secrets of the battlefield the tears of those so bold
