ADVENTURER Sean Conway will get some deserved time off this weekend as he prepares for a big push.

The 32-year-old form Charlton Kings is swimming the length of the country from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in Scotland to raise money for charity War Child.

He will take a break at Hartland Quay for the weekend, before heading off to Lundy on Monday.

Sean has been averaging 14 to 15 miles a day, and aims to reach Lundy before heading off to Pembrokeshire.

He said: "It's great for me and the team to get some land time. We really need the break.

"It was a tough swim the first couple of days with technical problems, but we are pushing on now. The last 10 days have been amazing, the weather has really helped."
