THE men tampered with two cash points.
The first was in Hillview Road in Hucclecote some time between 8pm and 9pm on Thursday, April 25.
When a man tried to use the machine, a device connected to the card slot held his card while a camera concealed in a metal case fitted to the top of the machine recorded his PIN as he entered it.
Tudor, Dragan and Dascalescu disconnected the device after the victim left and immediately used his card to withdraw cash at several other cash machines and shops in the city.
In other images released by police, Tudor is seen giving a shop assistant in Brockworth the thumbs up after using the stolen card.
The group then travelled to another cash machine in Bath Road in Cheltenham and fitted the camera and device there.
A Cheltenham woman used the machine and again the device swallowed the card.
This time, police in the local area had noticed suspicious activity and stopped the offenders' car before they had chance to retrieve their device and the woman's card.
Officers found the first victim's card and tools to help fit the devices in the vehicle.
Investigating officer PC Annabel Brittain said: "I hope this case and these images make people think harder about their security at cash machines or Chip and PIN devices.
"The most important thing is to always cover your hand when typing your PIN. If you do that, you're protecting yourself even if the criminals get your card or clone it because they won't be able to use it at other machines.
"These devices aren't complicated but they are effective and blend in well with the machine. If you can, take a moment to look around the cash machine you use, have a feel and see if anything sticks out or seems suspicious."
