ADRIAN Cooper had the experience of his young lifetime on Saturday, placing the match ball for the Lions first test match.
Adrian, 13, went to Hillview Primary School in Hucclecote before emigrating to Australia with his family a few years ago, where he is a rising rugby star on the gold coast.
He ran out before the players in Brisbane on Saturday, in front of 60,000 live spectators and tens of millions TV viewers.
He said: "All I could hear was the singing – 'Lions, Lions, Lions', it was amazing."
Among others, Adrian met Wallabies stars Berrick Barnes and Nick Cummings.
