POLICE have arrested a man in connection with the brutal murder of a family close to Cheltenham's French twin town.
Saad al-Hilli, his wife Iqbal and her mother Suhaila al-Allaf were shot as they spent a holiday by Lake Annecy. French cyclist Sylvain Mollier was also killed.
Members of Cheltenham's twinning association were shocked by the news of the brutal murder last September.
Zaid al-Hilli, Saad's 54-year-old brother, was arrested in Chessington yesterday in connection with the three deaths.
