CLEAR skies won't last long today – but better weather than first forecast is around the corner.
Rain was expected to start falling between 2am and 3am and after a break in the showers, more is forecast for 9am.
It's expected to stop by 11am but then light showers are likely to set in from 1pm until the late evening.
Temperatures are expected to stay fairly high, in line with climatic conditions for the time of year.
Tomorrow was expected to be beset by rain for most of the day, but the bulk of daylight hours are expected to be sunny and temperatures at a high of 16C.
Showers are expected to come in at around 4pm and could last in to the late evening.
