SEASIDE fun washed up at a Cheltenham school yesterday.
Donkey rides were among the attractions for pupils and parents as Lakeside Primary School in Up Hatherley held its annual summer fete.
It was organised by the school's Parent Teachers Association (PTA).
Tina Sawle, head of the PTA, said the turnout had been large after leaflet were sent to 750 nearby homes. She said: "We had absolutely loads going on, including a bouncy castle, tombola and face painting."
The event took place to raise funds for the school, and is one of the biggest events on the school calendar. The PTA also organised a sponsored Bunny Bounce, which involved pupils jumping on a bouncy castle as many times as possible in a minute, helping raise over £3,500.
