RECYCLING tips are being dished out at a series of informative events.
The roadshows will be travelling across the county over the summer, with the first being held in Tewkesbury.
Waste experts will be on hand to offer advice on everything from nappies to waste-saving shopping tips, with information on special offers and vouchers available for local residents.
Gloucestershire has an aspiration to reach 70 per cent recycling, which would make the county one of the top recyclers in Europe.
Councillor Ray Theodoulou, cabinet member for finance and changes, said: "We want local residents to be armed with all the information they need to make the most of the waste services we have in Gloucestershire.
"If other countries are reaching 70 per cent recycling then we can too."
Meanwhile, council officers will be outside Tesco in Lydney on Thursday, July 4 from 10am to 2pm.
