An alleged gunman has appeared in court this morning charged with threatening to kill a builder.
Lewis Green, 25, of Kingsholm Road in Gloucester, was remanded in custody by Cheltenham magistrates and will appear again at Gloucester Crown Court on July 5.
It is in relation to an incident on Monday when a man was seen in the city centre allegedly wielding a shotgun.
The court heard he had earlier allegedly threatened to kill someone at a building site with the firearm.
He also been charged with racially abusing a custody suite officer following his arrest.
No pleas have yet been entered.
