EMERGENCY services were called to Gotherington early yesterday morning after reports a woman was injured in a crash.
Police officers were called to the A435, at the junction of Malleson Road and Gotherington Fields just after midnight on Friday after reports a woman was lying immobile at the side of the road.
The woman was found at the scene, by officers, lying on her side close to Gotherington garage, at around 12.15am. She was not injured, and told police she had left home after an argument with her partner.
She was taken to hospital to check for further injuries.
Officers closed the A435 for 45 minutes and opened the road again around 1am.
