What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?
A day cycling around the Forest of Dean with a picnic lunch is hard to beat.
And your favourite place to eat out in the county?
We rarely eat out but Red Pepper in Cheltenham is somewhere you can guarantee a great meal.
What's the worst job you've ever had?
Working in a cardboard factory one summer, where much of my time was spent cleaning the concrete floor with a watering can and a sweeping brush.
Have you got any unusual habits?
Some people call playing in a brass band unusual.
Who is your hero and why?
The author and poet Maya Angelou. I admire her so much that I named my daughter after her.
What book are you reading at the moment or tell us your favourite?
I love American crime fiction and have recently finished reading every book by Michael Connelly in chronological order.
What was the last film you watched?
Shutter Island. Very thought provoking.
First single/record you ever bought?
I can't remember the first single but I know the first album I bought was Now 7.
