STUDENTS and staff at the University of Gloucestershire have been praised for their work on keeping green.
The university has moved up to third place out of 143 universities in the People and Planet Green League Table 2013.
The table measures various environmental factors.
Professor Daniella Tilbury, director of sustainability, left, said: "We are pleased to see our commitment and actions rewarded with a First Class by People and Planet.
"Our commitment runs deep and is visible in our classrooms, our canteens and community engagement work."
