ILLEGAL tobacco products were being sold by a shopkeeper in Cheltenham.
Mohammed Sedoo admitted five counts of selling counterfeit branded tobacco and seven offences related to selling products without health warnings at Central Newsagents in lower High Street.
The 57-year-old, of Falkner Street, Gloucester, was charged following an investigation carried out by Trading Standards officers.
They seized a total of 232 packs of illegal cigarettes and 120 packs of illegal rolling tobacco.
Eddie Coventry, head of trading standards, said: "This case demonstrates our continued commitment to tackling illegal tobacco sales in the county."
