WORK began yesterday to dismantle the remains of a light aircraft which crashed into a residential garden in Cheltenham.
Engineers were taking the plane down bit by bit during the afternoon after emergency crews de-fuelled and secured the mangled wreckage on Thursday.
The plane came to rest in a tree behind a property in Loweswater Close, Up Hatherley, at about 10.45am.
