DUCK races sent visitors to the village of Avening quackers.
The annual village fete got off to a swimming start when dozens of bathtime rubber ducks floated down the stream in the afternoon sunshine.
"The famous duck races take place down the village stream which runs through the centre of Avening," said spokesman Tony Russell.
"It was a great day and the good weather really helped."
An art exhibition graced Holy Cross Church, giving people a chance to see the inside of the historic building which had its origins in 1087 thanks to Queen Matilda, William the Conqueror's wife.
Villagers and visitors made the wine stall a popular attraction, as were the cake stalls, prize raffle and tombola.
The village playgroup ran a fundraising coconut shy and a fun dog show attracted talented mutts.
