WHEN it came to promoting the start of national schools' healthy eating week, the Princess Royal popped to meet pupils in her own back yard for the launch.
Princess Anne was at Brimscombe Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary in Stroud, just down the road from her home at Gatcombe Park, to chat to the boys and girls about the foods they were growing and then enjoying on their plates.
The royal was given a basket of scones and jam made at the school.
