AFTER a warm and sunny weekend, the Met Office is predicting a rainy few days ahead.
Temperatures soared to 18°C over the bank holiday weekend as people lapped it up at events across the city, including the Tall Ships Festival in Gloucester and the Cheese Rolling in Brockworth.
But umbrellas are being dusted off with forecasters warning of a return to wet conditions.
Heavy rain is expected today with temperatures dropping to 11°C (52°F) during the day and 8°C (46°F) overnight.
It should be slightly warmer tomorrow with temperatures rising to 15°C (59°F), but light rain is predicted throughout the day.
Showers are forecast on Thursday punctuated with sunny spells, but it should get even warmer with temperatures getting somewhere back to normality at 17°C (63°F).
At the moment, Friday is expected to be a cloudy day with little to no rain and temperatures are set to rise once again to 19°C (66°F), suggesting another nice weekend could be in store.
