DESPITE rain and hail, residents in Matson fought the conditions to hang 30 floral baskets.
Every year volunteers come together to hang baskets along the parade in Matson.
And this year was no exception, despite adverse weather conditions last week.
Liam Kelch, chairman of Matson and Robinswood Residents' Group, said: "We had a good turnout despite the rain and hail.
"Whenever the weather got bad we ducked into the Gateway and sheltered to wait for the sun.
"But they are all up now and it looks fantastic, they make a real difference."
