RAPPER Professor Green was injured in a road crash on his way to Hartpury College's summer ball.
The London musician, real name Stephen Manderson, tweeted his apologies to the college, and posted pictures of himself receiving treatment for his injuries.
He had been on the way to headline the college's summer ball on Friday night. He was replaced on the bill by another famous London rapper, Wretch32. Professor Green tweeted: "Not ideal. Someone run me over. Sorry Hartpury.
"Off to the hospital we go. I'm making jokes but I'm in all sorts of discomfort. Probable broken leg. If I'd have fallen when the car hit me, I'd be dead."
Russell Marchant, principal of Hartpury College, said: "We wish Professor Green a speedy recovery and hope to welcome him to Hartpury at some other point in the future."
