Bryan Redpath has been removed as director of rugby by Sale Sharks according to reports tonight. The former Gloucester coach was apparently let go from his post after Sale slumped to their seventh Aviva Premiership league defeat 23:16 at Worcester Warriors on Friday night. His departure was widely reported tonight but as yet there is no official announcement on the Sale Sharks website. However the BBC has reported that Redpath remains an employee of the club. A Sale spokesman told BBC Sport: "I've spoken to one of the owners and Bryan Redpath has not left the club. He is still an employee of the club." And tonight Dave Swanton(Swanny), who is Head of Media,PR & Supporter Liaison at Sale Sharks used his @SwannyMediaMan Twitter account to deny the story. He tweeted: "Don't know where the media got that from but can confirm Brush is STILL employed by Sale Sharks."
