AN electrical pole was left hanging over a house when a driver crashed into it in the early hours of yesterday.
The crash, which involved one vehicle, happened at 4.55am on the A4135 at Draycott.
Cam Road was closed in both directions until 7.45am while the scene was cleared.
The driver did not suffer serious injuries, but was in shock.
Western Power Distribution workers were at the scene to reconnect the power.
BT were also called to the scene.
The Citreon van that crashed was recovered from the scene at 6.40am.
Police closed Draycott Road and Box Road for over an hour.
