GENERATIONS who have camped out, hiked, and tied knots with a city centre Scout group celebrated their 60th anniversary on Sunday.
The 46th Gloucester group was formed in 1953 and since then, hundreds if not thousands of Cubs, Scouts, Venture Scouts, and latterly Beavers and Explorers have enjoyed Scouting life.
At the group's celebrations, former members joined new to reminisce. "It went really well," said group Scout leader Roy Huntley. "We had a very good turnout, including two original members and our former group Scout leader, Colin Turner."
