TEENAGER Craig Miles has ripped through Hampshire's middle order on a superb first morning for Gloucestershire at Bristol.
The visitors had a Championship debutant at the top of their order in the shape of Michael Roberts, deputising for England Lions call-up Michael Carberry.
And frustration at a slow scoring rate seemed to get the better of the 24-year-old in the ninth over, as he nibbled at a seaming delivery from Will Gidman and was caught behind by Cameron Herring for nine.
Gidman struck again in his next over when Liam Dawson (0) was caught by County captain Michael Klinger.
Miles was brought into the attack as second change, and he cleaned up Australian George Bailey for 13 with one that kept low before pinning James Vince (9) leg before.
And the 18-year-old seamer was celebrating again when veteran Sean Ervine (4) mistimed a drive to Dan Housego at point.
A dream morning for Klinger was complete in the final over before lunch, Adam Wheater (8) adjudged leg before to off-spinner Jack Taylor to leave Hampshire in disarray on 69 for six.
